BONO REGIONAL MINISTER RECEIVES GHANA ARMED FORCES CENTRAL COMMAND DELEGATION
The Bono Regional Minister, Hon. Joseph Addae Akwaboa, on 29th July 2026 received a delegation from the Ghana Armed Forces Central Command during a courtesy call at the Bono Regional Coordinating Council. The visit was to formally inform the Minister of recent changes in the leadership of the Command.
The engagement highlighted the longstanding partnership between the Ghana Armed Forces and the Bono Regional Coordinating Council, with both sides reaffirming their commitment to strengthening collaboration in the interest of peace, security, and stability across the Bono Region.
During the meeting, Hon. Akwaboa commended the Ghana Armed Forces Central Command for its professionalism, discipline, and continued contribution to maintaining law and order within the region. He also welcomed the new leadership and assured the delegation of the Regional Coordinating Council’s continued support in working closely with the security services to foster a safe, peaceful, and enabling environment for sustainable development.
The courtesy call reinforced the importance of strong cooperation between regional authorities and the security services in advancing public safety and supporting the region’s overall development agenda.
