BONO REGIONAL MINISTER RECEIVES COURTESY VISIT FROM PRESIDING BISHOP OF LIVING GRACE MINISTRIES INTERNATIONAL

On September 18, 2025, the Bono Regional Minister, Hon. Joseph Addae Akwaboa, received a courtesy visit from the Presiding Bishop of Living Grace Ministries International, Bishop Dr. Richard Owusu Achiaw, and his team of clergy at his office.

Bishop Owusu Achiaw, who has dedicated over three decades to spreading the gospel in Sunyani, congratulated the Minister on his appointment and expressed confidence in his leadership.

He commended the Minister’s commitment to addressing issues such as illegal mining, chieftaincy disputes, and infrastructure development, while stressing the need for urgency in leadership to improve lives and leave a lasting legacy.

The Minister assured the delegation of his dedication to working tirelessly for the progress of the Bono Region and Ghana as a whole.

He emphasized the government’s mandate to “reset” the nation and avoid past mistakes, while also updating the team on key infrastructure projects, including the Berlin Top inner road and the outer ring road, which are expected to bring relief to residents of Sunyani.

The visit concluded with prayers and blessings from Bishop Owusu Achiaw, who called for divine protection, direction, and purpose for the Minister and his team. Both parties acknowledged the importance of collaboration between leadership and the clergy in uplifting and guiding the community.
