BONO REGIONAL MINISTER HOST AUSTRALIAN DEPUTY HIGH COMMISSIONER ON DEVELOPMENT COLLABORATION

Hon. Joseph Addae Akwaboa, the Bono Regional Minister, received a courtesy visit from Ms. Penny Dennis, Deputy High Commissioner of Australia, and Ms. Sènami Sappor, Policy Research Officer at the Australian High Commission, at his office on 29th October 2025.

The meeting focused on exploring key areas of mutual interest aimed at advancing the development of the Bono Region. Discussions centered on ongoing regional growth initiatives and potential avenues for collaboration between the Bono Regional Coordinating Council and the Australian High Commission.

The visit highlighted the importance of fostering strong international partnerships to drive sustainable development, with both sides expressing commitment to continued cooperation and support for the region’s progress.
