BONO REGIONAL MINISTER ENGAGES QUEEN MOTHERS ON DEVELOPMENT AND PEACE INITIATIVES

The Bono Regional Minister, Hon. Joseph Addae Akwaboa, paid a maiden visit to the esteemed Bono Regional Queen Mothers’ Association at the Bono Regional House of Chiefs Conference Room on 12th June 2025.
The meeting highlighted the crucial role Queen Mothers play as custodians of peace, stability, and community development.
During the interaction, the Regional Minister sought the wisdom and counsel of the Queen Mothers to guide his leadership and policymaking.
In response, the Queen Mothers congratulated him on his appointment and pledged their continued commitment to maintaining peace and stability within their respective paramountcies, a foundational element for sustainable development.

The Regional Minister listened to the concerns and challenges raised by the Queen Mothers and, in turn, expressed a commitment to support and strengthen their association.
He emphasized that empowering Queen Mothers is essential to reinforcing family and community structures, which are vital for regional progress.
Looking ahead, the Regional Minister announced plans to visit various paramountcies across the region to further engage with Queen Mothers and explore collaborative strategies for advancing community development.
He expressed confidence that through collective efforts, the Bono Region could achieve significant growth and transformation.
