BONO REGIONAL MINISTER COMMENDS LAUNCH OF FEED GHANA PROGRAMME

At the inaugural launch of the #FeedGhanaProgramme held in Techiman on April 13, 2025, the Bono Regional Minister, Hon. Joseph Addae Akwaboa, joined President John Dramani Mahama to mark what has been described as a milestone in Ghana’s journey toward agricultural excellence and economic development.

The Feed Ghana Programme, which was officially unveiled by President Mahama, is built on four strategic pillars: Smart Agriculture, Grain and Legumes Production, Vegetable Development, and Institutional Farming. These interventions are expected to significantly transform the agricultural sector, enhance food security, and stimulate economic growth across the country.

Hon. Akwaboa lauded the initiative, highlighting it as a clear demonstration of the government’s commitment to leveraging agriculture as a catalyst for national economic transformation. He also expressed appreciation for President Mahama’s foresight and leadership in spearheading this ambitious programme.

He emphasized the optimism surrounding the programme, noting that under President Mahama’s visionary leadership, the country stands poised to experience not only a revitalized agricultural sector but also improved livelihoods and a brighter future for all Ghanaians.
