BONO REGIONAL MINISTER CALLS FOR UNITY TO ADVANCE BONO DEVELOPMENT AGENDA

The Bono Regional Minister, Hon. Joseph Addae Akwaboa, has called for greater unity and collaboration among stakeholders to accelerate development in the Bono Region.

He made the appeal on 13th October 2026 when he received a delegation from Bono, Bono East and Côte d’Ivoire comprising members of the Bonokyempem Association, Bono Fie, Bono Family Worldwide and the Bonoman Institute. The delegation paid a courtesy call to discuss the region’s development priorities and explore ways of working together to improve the welfare of the people.

Hon. Akwaboa emphasised that a united front was essential to advancing the Bono development agenda, urging the groups to strengthen partnerships, embrace cooperation and pursue their shared aspirations collectively. He noted that sustainable progress would require stakeholders to put aside divisions and work towards common goals.

The Regional Minister also reaffirmed his commitment to fulfilling the mandate entrusted to him by His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama. He pledged to continue working towards the development of the Bono Region and the delivery of meaningful improvements in the lives of its people.
