NSA BOSS PROF. PETER TWUMASI PAYS OFFICIAL VISIT TO THE BONO REGIONAL SPORTS AUTHORITY

Director-General of the National Sports Authority, Professor Peter O. Twumasi on Thursday 19th January, 2023 paid a working visit to the directorate of the Bono Regional Sports Authority.

As part of his new year regional tour, the Director-General took the opportunity to inspect the sporting facilities at the Coronation Park and also to deliver his new year message to the entire Bono Regional staff, review and access activities of the year 2022 to know where we made it very strong and where the region fell short and prognoses for the year 2023.

In an interaction with the management and staff of the directorate, he congratulated the Bono Regional Sports authority for doing a great job in the development and promotion of sports and also commended them for the positive management of the facilities. 

He mentioned in his submission that, Municipal/District sports directors should organize sporting programs and scout for athletes in the various disciplines to feed the regional team who will then train and push them further into the national teams.

On behalf of the entire staff, the Regional Director, Foster K. Opoku Boakye in his remarks thanked the Director General for his visit and assured him that the region will do its best to organize sports to promote and develop athletes for the country.
