REGIONAL MINISTER VISIT DUMASUA TO ASCERTAIN THE PROGRESS OF WORK ON THE NEW MARKET AND TOUR DUMASUA SCHOOLS
On 2nd August 2023, the Bono Regional Minister, Hon. Justina Owusu-Banahene in the company of the Municipal Chief Executive for Sunyani West Municipal, Hon. Evans Kusi Boadum, paid a working visit to Dumasua to ascertain the progress of work on the new market undergoing construction as well as visit some schools in Dumasua
They were accompanied by Madam Beatrice Afia Boatemaa (Sunyani West Municipal Assembly Works Engineer), Mr. Emmanuel Gyamfi (Assemblyman of the Electoral Area) and Hon. Adane Ankamah.
Upon reaching there, it was realized that when the construction of the concrete floor pavement was done, the market could have finally been handed over to the community.
From the market premises, they visited Dumasua Methodist Primary School. Hon. Justina Owusu Banahene admonished the Teaching Staff to always give out their best to the students. While the students were happily learning ICT, she took a few minutes to motivate them to take their studies serious so that one day they could become prominent people in their various communities and Ghana at large.
From Dumasua Methodist Primary School, they headed to Wisdom Gate Academy School to visit the seven year old boy who nearly got killed about two weeks ago. The boy was met in healthy condition.
The Bono Regional Minister counselled the students, especially the final year students to be discipline in all their endeavours and take their studies serious.
Adding his voice, Hon. Evans Kusi Boadum alerted the final year students about the newly instituted pattern the objective questions are being set by WAEC. That is, the answer for a particular student’s question 1 could not be the answer for question 1 for another student. Meaning, the content of question 1 for a particular student could be the content of question 10 for another student. Thus, no student should make an attempt to cheat in the examination room.
