On February 19, 2025, a significant meeting was held at the Residency in Sunyani, bringing together the newly appointed Honourable Bono Regional Minister, Mr. Joseph Addae Akwaboa, and the Coordinating Directors from various municipalities and districts. This gathering served as an opportunity for formal introductions, strategic discussions, and a reaffirmation of commitment to regional development.

The Chief Director, Mr. Andrews Mensah, set the tone for the meeting by introducing Mr. Akwaboa to the Coordinating Directors. He provided a brief yet insightful profile of the new minister, outlining his academic background and extensive work experience. Additionally, he highlighted the various activities and initiatives Mr. Akwaboa had already undertaken since assuming office.
