HONORING GHANA’S WORKFORCE – BONO, BONO EAST AND AHAFO MARK 2026 WORKERS’ DAY AT KINTAMPO
On 1st May 2026, workers across the globe were honored for their dedication, perseverance, and invaluable contributions to national development.
The occasion served as a platform to recognize the strength and commitment of Ghanaian workers, particularly those in the Bono Region, whose efforts continue to drive progress and lay the foundation for a more prosperous future.
As part of the International Workers’ Day celebrations, the Bono, Bono East, and Ahafo Regions marked the day with a commemorative event in Kintampo in the Bono East Region.

The event brought together key stakeholders, including the Bono Regional Minister, Joseph Addae Akwaboa, alongside the Bono East and Ahafo Regional Ministers.
Also in attendance were the NDC Bono Regional Chairman, Kwadwo Nyamekye Marfo, and the Sunyani Municipal Chief Executive, Vincent Antwi Agyei.
The gathering underscored the importance of unity in advancing the welfare of workers and highlighted the need to remain committed to the pursuit of justice, equal opportunity, and collective progress for all citizens.
