DEPUTY CEO OF EPA AND HIS TEAM VISIT BONO REGIONAL MINISTER IN SUNYANI

On Thursday, March 20, 2025, the Bono Regional Minister, Honourable Joseph Addae Akwaboa, welcomed Dr. Jacob Paarechuga Anankware, the Deputy Chief Executive Officer (General Services) of the Environmental Protection Authority (EPA), and his entourage to his office.

This visit was part of the EPA’s nationwide familiarization tour, commencing in the Bono Region.

The EPA, responsible for protecting Ghana’s natural environment and promoting sustainable development, was encouraged by the Minister to regulate and enforce environmental laws and regulations to prevent pollution and degradation, particularly in the Bono Region.

Hon. Akwaboa pledged his commitment to partner with the EPA Regional Authority to ensure compliance with the EPA’s primary focus.

The Minister also conveyed that his office remains open for more in-depth discussions to facilitate the EPA’s mandate without any hindrances.
