BONO RCC ORGANIZES TRAINING WORKSHOP FOR NEWLY RECRUITED CLIENT SERVICE OFFICERS
The Bono Regional Coordinating Council (RCC) on 25th May 2026 organized a training workshop on Local Governance and Decentralization as well as the Client Service Operational Manual for newly recruited Client Service Officers in the Bono Region.
The workshop, which took place at the Conference Room of the Sunyani Municipal Assembly, brought together newly recruited officers from various Municipal and District Assemblies within the region to equip them with the knowledge and skills required for effective service delivery.
Opening the workshop, the Bono Regional Coordinating Director, Mr. Nar-ire Puobenyere David, welcomed participants and encouraged them to take the training seriously.
He emphasized the important role Client Service Officers play within their respective institutions, noting that they serve as the first point of contact for visitors and clients.

According to him, the attitude and professionalism displayed by Client Service Officers significantly influence the public perception of their Assemblies. He therefore urged participants to uphold high standards of professionalism, courtesy, and dedication in the discharge of their duties.
The first presentation focused on Local Governance and Decentralization and was delivered by Mr. Alexander Bae-Yeboah, Deputy Director at the Bono RCC. The presentation highlighted the structure and functions of local governance systems as well as the importance of decentralization in promoting effective administration and development at the local level.
The second presentation was delivered by Ms. Maud Mensah, Senior Human Resource Manager at the Bono RCC, on the Client Service Operational Manual. Participants were taken through key principles and procedures outlined in the manual to help improve client relations, communication, and service delivery within public institutions.
At the end of the workshop, participants were presented with handouts on the Client Service Operational Manual as well as Certificates of Participation in recognition of their successful completion of the training programme.
