BONO REGIONAL COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT UNDERTAKES INTEGRATED SOCIAL SERVICE DELIVERY PROGRAM (ISS)
The Integrated Social Services (ISS) seeks to strengthen inter – sectoral collaboration among social welfare, social protection, health actors and other decentralized and national level to improve the delivery of social services across the country.
The ISS aims to help address multi – dimensional poverty and vulnerability with a strong focus on promoting linkages between health, child protection, sexual and gender-based violence and social protection services.
From 12th April to 26th April 2023, The Department of Community Development (Bono Regional office) organized public education and sensitization for Ten selected Communities in the Sunyani West Municipality on Teenage Pregnancy and other Child related issues. The Sensitization programme allowed staff to interact with the selected Communities on the causes, effects and prevention of Teenage Pregnancy in the lives of their children, family and the entire community.
