IN-SERVICE TRAINING HELD FOR STAFF OF AGRICULTURE DEPARTMENTS IN THE VARIOUS MMDAs OF BONO REGION

Various training activities were organized in the Districts for staff to ensure they are in tune with current and modern agricultural practices and technologies. For example, as a result of some inconsistencies in the reports from AEAs, training was organized for staff in Jinijini (Berekum West District) on report writing and activities planning. The training also included the supporting or administrative staff. Again, the Statistics Research and Information Directorate (SRID) of the Ministry of Food and Agriculture, held training at Bunso Cocoa College on Ghana Annual Production Survey to implement the Harmonizing and Improving Statistics in West Africa Project (HISWAP) using the Open Data Kit (ODK) data collection tool for farm area measurement and yield studies.
