AGRICULTURE DEPARTMENT DEMONSTRATES IMPROVED METHOD OF TRANSPLANTING TREE CROP SEEDLINGS TO PERD BENEFICIARIES

As part of the extension service delivery on improved methods of transplanting tree crop seedlings to ensure a high survival rate, a demonstration was done for some beneficiaries of the PERD seedlings on planting/transplanting of the seedlings and how to care for them during the initial stages on the field.

About 64 beneficiary farmers in Banda received insight into improved practices involved in transplanting oil-palm seedlings.
