AGRICULTURE DEPARTMENT COLLABORATE WITH FORESTRY COMMISSION TO EMBARK ON TREE-PLANTING ON GREEN GHANA DAY

During the Green Ghana Day, all the Departments of Agriculture in the region collaborated with the Forestry Commission to undertake tree-planting exercises under the Green Ghana Initiative.

Various types of tree seedlings were planted and some were distributed to institutions and individuals to plant. Seedling types also include mahogany and oframo.
