BONO REGIONAL MINISTER HIGHLIGHTS UNITY AND TEAMWORK AT SECURITY SERVICES SPORTS EVENT

The Bono Regional Minister, Hon. Joseph Addae Akwaboa, has called on the Regional Security Services to use their annual sports event as an opportunity to strengthen unity, teamwork and collaboration among personnel.

The Minister made the call when he joined members of the Bono Regional Security Services for their annual sports event held at the Coronation Park in Sunyani on 19 September 2026.

He noted that beyond providing an avenue for personnel to display their sporting talents, the event could help foster stronger bonds and promote togetherness among the various security agencies.

According to him, such unity and collaboration were important for creating a more effective working environment and enhancing coordination in the maintenance of law and order across the region.

The Minister also announced that the Bono Region had been selected among the regions to benefit from the construction of a new sports stadium.

He described the development as a significant milestone for the region, noting that the facility was expected to contribute to the growth and development of sports and improve the sporting landscape of Bono.
