BONO REGIONAL MINISTER JOINS JINIJINI SHS COMMUNITY TO CELEBRATE 35TH ANNIVERSARY
The Bono Regional Minister, Hon. Joseph Addae Akwaboa, on 14th August 2026 joined the management, staff, students, alumni, parents and the wider community of Jinijini Senior High School (JINSS) to mark the school’s 35th anniversary.
During the celebration, the Regional Minister commended the school’s founders, Board, management, teachers, staff, students, alumni, parents and community members for their contributions to the institution’s growth and development over the past 35 years.
He acknowledged the significant role Jinijini Senior High School has played in promoting quality education, nurturing talent, instilling discipline and contributing to national development.
The Regional Minister also stressed the need for sustained investment in education, particularly in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), Information and Communication Technology (ICT), entrepreneurship and practical skills.

He noted that strengthening these areas would help equip young people with the knowledge and competencies required to succeed in an increasingly dynamic world.
Hon. Akwaboa further praised teachers for their important role in shaping the future of the country and encouraged them to remain committed to inspiring, mentoring and nurturing the next generation of leaders.
Addressing the students, he urged them to take their studies seriously, respect others, make responsible decisions and remain focused on their aspirations. He also cautioned them against drug abuse, violence, internet fraud, examination malpractice and other forms of indiscipline.
As Jinijini Senior High School commemorates 35 years of service to education, the Regional Minister congratulated the entire JINSS community and wished the institution continued excellence, growth and greater impact in the years ahead.
