BONO REGIONAL MINISTER URGES CBG TO EXPAND SUPPORT FOR WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS

On 22 July 2026, the Bono Regional Minister, Hon. Joseph Addae Akwaboa, received the Managing Director of Consolidated Bank Ghana (CBG), Dr. Naomi W. Kwettey, and her delegation during a courtesy visit to his office.

The engagement focused on CBG’s operations in the Bono Region, its growth prospects, and possible areas of collaboration to support economic development and inclusive growth in the region.

During the meeting, the Regional Minister encouraged the bank to strengthen its support for women entrepreneurs by providing startup financing opportunities and tailored financial solutions to help expand women-led businesses across the region.

The Minister further reaffirmed his commitment to working with CBG and other stakeholders to promote initiatives that support entrepreneurship, financial inclusion, and sustainable economic development in the Bono Region.
