BONO REGIONAL MINISTER JOINS SUNYANI EAST MP AND MCE TO CUT SOD FOR NATURAL TURF AT SUNYANI METHODIST SCHOOL PARK

On 4th March 2026, the Bono Regional Minister, Hon. Joseph Addae Akwaboa, joined the Member of Parliament (MP) for Sunyani East, Hon. Seid Mubarak, and the Sunyani Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon. Vincent Antwi Agyei, to ceremonially cut sod for the construction of a natural turf at the Methodist School Park in Sunyani.

The ceremony, held at Sunyani New Town, brought together several key stakeholders, including Rt. Rev. Kwaku Effah, traditional leaders (Nananom), and party executives.

The project forms part of ongoing efforts to promote sports development and strengthen community engagement across the region.

The initiative is expected to improve sporting infrastructure in Sunyani and provide opportunities for youth development through sports.

The Regional Minister reaffirmed the government’s commitment to the development of the Bono Region, emphasizing that collaborative efforts among political leaders, traditional authorities, and community stakeholders remain essential in driving progress and elevating the region’s growth and development.
