BONO REGIONAL MINISTER CHAIRS 2ND 2025 RCC COUNCIL MEETING TO REVIEW DEVELOPMENT PROGRESS

Hon. Joseph Addae Akwaboa, the Bono Regional Minister, presided over the second Bono RCC Council meeting for 2025 held on 10th December 2025 at the Conference Hall of the Bono Regional Coordinating Council (RCC).

The meeting brought together Municipal and District Chief Executives, Presiding Members, the Regional Coordinating Director, the Regional Representative of the National Development Planning Commission (NDPC), Heads of Departments and Agencies, Traditional Authorities, Representative of the Regional House of Chiefs, and Development Partners.

The meeting served as a key platform for stakeholders to review progress made during the year, assess challenges encountered, and outline a strategic roadmap toward building a more resilient and prosperous Bono Region.

Discussions highlighted 2025 as a significant turning point for the region, marked by notable progress achieved through strong collaboration among the Regional Coordinating Council, Municipal and District Assemblies, Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs), traditional authorities, and development partners.

In his address, the Regional Minister noted that the full impact of ongoing initiatives is expected to become more evident in the early months of the coming year, as current interventions are translated into tangible benefits for communities across the region. Stakeholders were encouraged to build on the gains made and to continue working together toward sustained regional development.

As the year drew to a close, the Regional Minister reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to leading and championing the development agenda of the Bono Region.

He acknowledged the demanding nature of the task but expressed confidence that, with determination and the continued support of all stakeholders, the shared development aspirations of the people of Bono could be achieved.
