BONO REGIONAL MINISTER HOSTS SECRETARIAT FOR 24-HOUR ECONOMY PROGRAMME IN SUNYANI

The Bono Regional Minister, Hon. Joseph Addae Akwaboa, hosted the Secretariat for the 24-Hour Economy Programme on 17th November 2025 in Sunyani, facilitating an interactive session with the Regional Coordinating Council (RCC), Municipal and District Chief Executives (MDCs), and their Coordinating Directors.

The engagement focused on ensuring the effective implementation of the region’s equitable share of national development initiatives.

The session offered in-depth insights into the 24-Hour Economy Programme, including its overarching framework and potential to drive accelerated development.

Participants examined the core concepts underpinning the initiative, explored its operational processes, and discussed the respective roles and contributions required from regional and district leadership to guarantee successful execution.

The discussion proved both enlightening and instrumental in strengthening collaborative efforts aimed at maximizing the benefits of the programme for communities across the Bono Region.
