BONO, CHIEFTANCY MINISTERS ENGAGE HOUSE OF CHIEFS ON DEVELOPMENT AND SECURITY ISSUES

The Bono Regional Minister, Hon. Joseph Addae Akwaboa, participated in a meeting of the Bono Regional House of Chiefs on 11th November 2025.

The session also featured a courtesy visit from the Minister of Local Government, Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs, Hon. Ahmed Ibrahim, the NDC Bono Regional Chairman, H.E. Kwadwo Nyamekye Marfo, and several Municipal and District Chief Executives.

During the engagement, Hon. Akwaboa presented the key developmental initiatives outlined for the region by His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, the President of the Republic of Ghana.

He also addressed concerns regarding potential security challenges arising from chieftaincy disputes and underscored the need for collective action to maintain peace and stability across the region.
