GRA COMMISSIONER-GENERAL PAYS COURTESY CALL ON BONO REGIONAL MINISTER

On 17th February 2026, the Bono Regional Minister, Hon. Joseph Addae Akwaboa, hosted the Commissioner-General of the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA), Mr. Anthony Kwasi Sarpong, together with other Commissioners and members of the Authority’s management team at his office.

The meeting focused on strategies to encourage tax compliance and enhance revenue mobilization within the Bono Region. Discussions highlighted the importance of intensifying public sensitization efforts to educate residents on the need to fulfill their tax obligations as a civic responsibility that directly supports regional and national development.

The Minister reaffirmed his commitment to supporting the GRA’s initiatives aimed at strengthening tax compliance in the region. He expressed appreciation to the Commissioner-General and his team for the visit and assured them of his full cooperation in advancing their mandate.

The engagement concluded with a shared resolve to collaborate effectively in driving sustainable development and prosperity in the Bono Region.
