BONO REGIONAL MINISTER ENCOURAGES NUGS EXECUTIVES TO PURSUE ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE AND LEADERSHIP

On 10th July 2025, the Bono Regional Minister, Hon. Joseph Addae Akwaboa, received a courtesy visit from the National Union of Ghana Students (NUGS) executives.

The purpose of the visit was to congratulate him on his recent appointment as Regional Minister.

During the meeting, Hon. Akwaboa commended the student leaders for their initiative and offered words of encouragement, urging them to take their leadership responsibilities seriously while remaining focused on their academic pursuits.

He emphasized that academic excellence is essential for their future success and reminded them that today’s students could become tomorrow’s national leaders.

The Minister also expressed his optimism for the upcoming NUGS Youth Festival 2025, extending his best wishes for a successful event.

He affirmed his belief that with dedication and hard work, the youth of Ghana will play a vital role in shaping the future of both the Bono Region and the country at large.
