REGIONAL MINISTER AND DORMAA WEST MP BREAK GROUND FOR 80-UNIT DISTRICT HOUSING PROJECT
Hon. Joseph Addae Akwaboa, the Bono Regional Minister, joined the Member of Parliament for the Dormaa West Constituency, Hon. Vincent Oppong Asamoah, and members of the local community on 21st January 2026 for the sod-cutting ceremony of an ambitious 80-unit District Housing Project in the Dormaa West District.
The project represents a significant step toward addressing housing needs in the district, with the aim of providing decent and affordable housing and expanding opportunities for homeownership for residents. It is expected to contribute to improved living standards, enhanced access to essential services, and the stimulation of local economic activity.
Beyond providing housing, the initiative is intended to support family stability, promote community pride, and help create a more secure and promising future for residents, particularly children and young families.
The Regional Minister commended Hon. Vincent Oppong Asamoah and all relevant stakeholders for their commitment to the project and their collective efforts in bringing the vision to fruition. He expressed optimism about the positive social and economic impact the housing project is expected to have on the Dormaa West District upon completion.
