BONO REGIONAL MINISTER URGES NURSING TRAINEES TO EMBRACE TECHNOLOGY FOR IMPROVED HEALTHCARE DELIVERY
The Bono Regional Minister, Hon. Joseph Addae Akwaboa, was joined by the Sunyani Municipal Chief Executive, Antwi Agyei Vincent, and the Member of Parliament for Sunyani East, Hon. Seid Mubarak, at the 21st Matriculation Ceremony of the Sunyani Nursing and Midwifery Training School on 7th November 2025.
The ceremony, held under the theme “Embracing Technology, Research, and Evidence-Based Practices to Enhance Care Delivery and Patient Outcomes,” underscored the critical role of innovation and technology in advancing healthcare delivery.

In his remarks, the Regional Minister reaffirmed the government’s commitment to strengthening the health sector through initiatives such as the implementation of the e-Health policy, expansion of health infrastructure, and continuous development of the healthcare workforce.
He urged the newly admitted students to take advantage of these advancements to deliver high-quality care and improve patient outcomes.
Hon. Akwaboa also commended the students for reaching this significant milestone and extended his best wishes for their academic and professional success.
