BONO REGIONAL MINISTER PAYS COURTESY CALL ON SUNYANI PARAMOUNT CHIEF

On 20th February 2026, the Bono Regional Minister, Hon. Joseph Addae Akwaboa, paid a courtesy visit to the Sunyani Traditional Council, where he held discussions with the Paramount Chief of the Sunyani Traditional Area, Odeefour Ogyeamansan Boahen Korkor II.

The meeting focused on strengthening collaboration between the Regional Coordinating Council and the traditional authority to promote the advancement and holistic development of Sunyani and the broader Bono Region.

Discussions centered on shared responsibilities in driving socio-economic growth, maintaining peace and stability, and fostering sustainable community development.

The Minister was accompanied by heads of security services, departmental leaders, representatives from the Regional Peace Council, and party executives. Their presence underscored a unified commitment among key stakeholders to work collectively toward the continued progress and prosperity of the region.
