BONO REGIONAL MINISTER PARTICIPATES IN PURC PUBLIC HEARING ON 2025-2030 TARIFF REVIEW

The Bono Regional Minister, Hon. Joseph Addae Akwaboa, joined stakeholders in Sunyani on 16th October 2025 for the Public Utilities Regulatory Commission’s (PURC) public hearing on the 2025–2030 Major Tariff Review.

The hearing formed part of PURC’s nationwide stakeholder engagement to ensure transparency, fairness, and sustainability in the determination of utility tariffs.

Hon. Akwaboa emphasized government’s commitment to providing citizens with affordable, reliable, and sustainable energy and water services in line with Ghana’s national development framework.

He commended PURC for creating an inclusive platform for dialogue and feedback from the public and called on all stakeholders to support efforts aimed at shaping a resilient and equitable utility sector.
