BONO REGIONAL MINISTER AND SUNYANI WEST MP DONATE RAMADAN SUPPORT TO ISLAMIC COMMUNITY

On 23rd February 2026, the Bono Regional Minister, Hon. Joseph Addae Akwaboa, joined the Member of Parliament for Sunyani West Constituency, Millicent Yeboah Amankwah, the Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), and other dignitaries to donate essential breakfast items to the Islamic community in the Sunyani West Constituency to support their Ramadan fasting.

The donation formed part of efforts to ease the burden on Muslim families during the holy month of Ramadan, a period marked by fasting, prayer, and reflection.

Addressing the gathering, the Regional Minister commended the MP for her dedication and commitment to ensuring that Sunyani West continues to receive its fair share of national development initiatives. He further called on the Islamic community to offer intercessory prayers for His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama during the Ramadan season, emphasizing the importance of unity, peace, and national progress.

The event highlighted the spirit of compassion, solidarity, and inclusive leadership within the region.
