The Bono Regional Minister, Hon. Joseph Addae Akwaboa, attended the 24th Congregation and 36th Matriculation Ceremonies of the Catholic University of Ghana (CUG) in Fiapre on 25th October 2025.
The twin ceremonies reflected the University’s commitment to academic excellence, moral integrity, and community service grounded in faith.
The event celebrated the achievements of graduating students while welcoming a new cohort into the academic community. It brought together distinguished guests, faculty heads, students, and families in a vibrant atmosphere of reflection and inspiration.

In his remarks, Hon. Akwaboa commended the Catholic University of Ghana for its continued contribution to human capital development and moral education in the Bono Region and beyond.
He emphasized the vital role of faith-based institutions in nurturing not only intellectual growth but also values that promote ethical leadership and national development.
The Minister described the occasion as a meaningful reminder of the cyclical nature of education — celebrating accomplishments while ushering in new beginnings — a hallmark of the University’s enduring legacy in higher learning.
