BONO CNC PROVIDES SUPPORT TO SCHOOLS CULTURAL ACTIVITIES

Second Cycle students were trained for their yearly school’s festival across the region by the Centre for National Culture (CNC).

CNC also attended to adjudicate and take charge of the Zonal and Regional sections of exhibitions, Sewing\Fashion Design, Cook Arts, Still Life Drawing, Construction and Assemblage, Drama in English, Dance, Choral Music, Poetry Recitals, Drum Language and Traditional Games held at Sunyani, Sunyani West and Nkrankwanta.

The Centre also facilitated trainings for local and foreign student on traditional drumming and dance, Poetry recitals, craft making etc.

Some of such schools included St. Mary’s Senior High-Ireland, Domfete Roman Catholic Basic, The Mount Montessori-Sunyani West, Hannah Memorial Preparatory-Tain district, Jets Crystal School-Abesim, Berekum SDA Basic, Mpatasie All for Christ Preparatory among others.

Students from the Visual Arts class of Sunyani Secondary School augmented their training with hands on practicals at the Centre.

CNC also hosted Students and staff from Dormaa Ahenkro; Hannah Memorial Preparatory-Tain District Region on a tour of the facility to embrace Ghanaian cultural values, creativity, and create a sense of identity.
