BONO REGIONAL MINISTER COMMENDS JOURNALISTS AT 4TH BONO REGIONAL GJA AWARDS

The Bono Regional Minister, Hon. Joseph Addae Akwaboa, has commended journalists in the region for their professionalism, dedication and contribution to journalism and national development.

The Minister joined the National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Hon. Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, the Minister for Works, Housing and Water Resources, Hon. Ahmed Ibrahim, and other dignitaries at the 4th Bono Regional Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) Awards held in Sunyani on 19th September 2026.

The ceremony brought together stakeholders to recognize and celebrate journalists who have demonstrated commitment, professionalism and excellence in the discharge of their responsibilities.

Hon. Akwaboa congratulated the award recipients and acknowledged the important role of the media in promoting development and informing the public.

He encouraged journalists to continue upholding high standards of professionalism and integrity while using their platforms to contribute to the development of the Bono Region and Ghana as a whole.
