BONO REGIONAL MINISTER INAUGURATES CADET DRILLS AND DISCIPLINE COMPETITION

The Bono Regional Minister, Hon. Joseph Addae Akwaboa, inaugurated the Bono Regional Minister’s Cadet Drills and Discipline Competition for Senior High School Cadet Corps at the Sunyani Jubilee Park on 26th November 2025.

The initiative is designed to revive the foundational values that have long guided the nation, while strengthening youth empowerment and promoting discipline among school children.

During the event, the Minister expressed appreciation to His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, President of the Republic of Ghana, for ensuring transparency in the security recruitment process—an approach expected to create additional employment opportunities for young people, including members of the Cadet Corps.

He also encouraged the cadet corps to uphold discipline and responsibility, urging them to become patriotic citizens committed to national service.
