The Monitoring and Evaluation Secretariat has the mandate under the Public Sector Reform for Results Project (PSRRP) to build M&E capacity and improve M&E practice across public institutions. The peer learning exercise was launched by the Secretariat to provide a platform for selected public sector institutions to share knowledge and experiences about doing M&E and using what is learnt to improve M&E practice in their organizations.

The objectives of the session were for participants to:

  • Share experiences in monitoring and evaluation practice.
  • Learn from M&E practice experiences of other peers; and
  • Convey what is learned to respective institutions for impact on M&E practice.

In line with this, the peer learning session focused on in-depth learning by providing opportunity for participants to develop hands-on knowledge and skills, share concrete experiences and learn practices which they can apply to solve M&E related problems in their respective organization.
